Hello World!

Welcome to my engineering log.

I'm David, a software engineer, a DevOps guru, a testing expert, a debugging master, kind of just a jack of all trades. After years of working in large-scale enterprise environments (mostly in financial services), I've created this space to focus on what matters most to me: the code, the infrastructure, and the solutions.

Here, you won’t find fluff or corporate buzzwords. You will find:

  • Homelab Documentation: Deep dives into my self-hosted infrastructure and the real-world problems I solve to keep them running.
  • Troubleshooting Post-Mortems: Detailed breakdowns of bugs I’ve cracked, including the root cause analysis and the fix.
  • Implementation Notes: Practical guides on using libraries I have worked with in practical scenarios.
  • Project Releases: Documentation and source code for tools and projects I have built.

My goal is simple: to document the lessons learned from breaking and fixing things, so you don’t have to make the same mistakes. Whether you’re a fellow engineer stuck on a random issue or just curious about self-hosting, I hope these notes save you time.

Feel free to explore the Projects section to see my code in action, or check out the Docs detailed documentation on my homelab and other projects.

Let’s build something cool.
